Professional
Growing Media
We manufacture Professional Growing Media to order. Our computerized blending lines enable us to precision blend growing media to your specifications. Custom growing mixes can be blended using such ingredients as Canadian sphagnum peat, aged or fresh pine bark fines, composted rice hulls, organic composts, perlite, vermiculite and a variety of fertilizers and additives.
We offer our own custom blends for annuals, perennials, nursery stock, woody ornamentals and a basic greenhouse mix. All of our standard professional blends are pH balanced and contain micronutrients and a starter fertilizer.
River City’s regional production plants can produce and package professional growing media to suit your needs. Every River City mix is available in bulk by the truckload, in 2 cubic foot bags by the pallet, or in 60 cubic foot supersacks. |
